FOUR NEW RAIN GARDENS ARE COMING TO YOUR COMMUNITY.
Four new rain gardens are being installed at the corner of Clara Ave and St. Edward Ave as part of an effort to improve stormwater management in the Wells-Goodfellow Neighborhood.
Rainscaping uses vibrant natural systems to manage water where it falls. It offers a more sustainable and holistic approach to stormwater management, and will help reduce combined sewer overflows to the Mississippi River.
These rain gardens will also create new green gathering spaces, and help strengthen community relationships while creating long-term maintenance jobs, and improving air quality.
JOIN US THIS MAY 4TH AT BARRETT BROTHERS PARK FROM 1-3PM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT, AND LATER THIS SUMMER FOR A RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY!
