Raul leverages his planning and community engagement experience to connect property owners in underserved areas across the country with water and greening infrastructure programs. He is driven by a passion for fostering climate-resilient communities and a justly built environment.

With his strong data and spatial analysis skills, Raul enjoys using GIS applications to make data more accessible to better inform program design and decision making. He has experience collaborating with diverse groups, including government agencies, community-based organizations and local residents.

Prior to joining Greenprint, Raul consulted state and local government agencies towards improved outcomes for social services, and worked in the design and evaluation of affordable housing policies and programs in San Francisco and Chicago. Raul earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning from San Francisco State University and his Master’s of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
