800 Fulton

Located in Chicago's vibrant Fulton Market District, 800 Fulton is a 19-story Class A office building that redefines the relationship between urban architecture and landscape. The building's distinctive stepped form creates a series of lushly planted terraces, with more than 35,000 square feet of outdoor space woven into the structure from street level to rooftop. Inspired by native Midwestern ecologies and limestone cliffside plant communities, the landscape design transforms each setback into an immersive green experience, maximizing biodiversity and wellness throughout.

Featuring native plantings, tree canopies and biophilic interiors, the project fosters a deep connection to nature while supporting sustainability goals, including LEED Platinum, WELL Gold and SmartScore certifications. Terraces act as vibrant social hubs and outdoor workspaces, offering panoramic skyline views, reduced energy use and enhanced tenant well-being. Even the mechanical rooftop becomes a thriving meadow.

By integrating landscape at every level, inside and out, 800 Fulton becomes more than an office building. It is a living, breathing ecosystem that energizes the streetscape, supports pollinators and provides tenants with daily access to nature in one of Chicago's most dynamic urban environments.
