Greenprint Partners is partnering with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) to plan, build and maintain green infrastructure on public and private properties through the Fresh Coast Green Communities (FCGC) program. The goal of FCGC is to protect Lake Michigan and local neighborhoods by capturing, cleaning and storing stormwater.
FCGC is part of MMSD's broader commitment to creating environmental, social and economic benefits across Milwaukee County. By using green infrastructure to manage 15–18 million gallons of water during large storms, the program creates more green spaces, reduces the risk of sewer overflows and helps keeps polluted runoff out of local waterways.
FCGC encourages the creation of more Fresh Coast Guardians — individuals committed to protecting Milwaukee's water through sustainable practices and green infrastructure. Learn more about green infrastructure and its benefits.

Greenprint manages every step of FCGC’s green infrastructure projects including funding, design, and construction. We will also help participants apply for available stormwater credits and will manage the vegetation establishment of green infrastructure for the first five years following construction.
