RainReady Homes Residential Rain Gardens + Rain Barrels

Greenprint Partners is seeking proposals from qualified contractors or landscape professionals for the installation of rain gardens at 5 residential properties and rain barrels at 12 residential properties in the Village of Riverdale. This project is supported by Cook County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and is part of the County’s efforts to manage stormwater runoff, reduce localized flooding, and improve water quality through the implementation of green infrastructure.

This project includes the excavation, soil amendment, and plantings necessary to install functioning rain gardens on certain residential properties.  At other residential properties, rain barrels to capture and store stormwater will be installed. The selected contractor will be expected to carry out the work in accordance with all applicable regulations and best practices.
