Greenprint is proud to share that our Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin green space project has received an MMSD Green Luminary® Award.
This Fresh Coast Green Communities project manages over 250,000 gallons of stormwater through a bioretention basin, 30 new stormwater trees and over two acres of native landscaping. Hospital patients can now benefit from an open green space for physical therapy. The walking paths through the natural prairie also offer rest and recharge for patients, visitors and hospital staff.

The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District gives Green Luminary® awards to businesses, organizations, and communities that implement exceptional green infrastructure design projects that benefit our lakes and rivers, as well as our communities.
